How do I book an appointment?
You can book online through our website or contact us via phone or SMS. If you can’t find a suitable time, reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring any relevant medical scans or reports, your private health insurance card, and comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. If you're attending a pre-pointe assessment please wear or bring either a crop top and shorts or a leotard, as well as your ballet shoes.
How long is an appointment?
Initial consultations are 60 minutes and follow up appointments are typically 30 minutes. In some circumstances, you may require an extended physiotherapy consultation, however, this will be communicated with you prior to your appointment.
How many appointments will I need?
This will depend on your diagnosis/injury as well as your goals (such as returning to sport or work). Some people need just a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer period of treatment. During your initial appointment, your physiotherapist will outline their best recommendations and, together with you, will create a management plan to reach your goals.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible via phone or SMS. We require at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a small fee.
Do I need a referral?
No, a referral is not needed for private physiotherapy appointments. However, if you are claiming through Medicare (EPC plan), WorkCover, or another third-party provider, you may need a referral from your doctor.
Can I claim my appointment through private health insurance?
Yes! If you have extras cover for physiotherapy, we can process your claim on the spot using HICAPS. You’ll just need to pay the gap fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFTPOS, credit/debit cards, bank transfer and cash. Payments are required at the time of your appointment.
What if I’m running late?
Please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your session may need to be shortened to avoid delays for other clients.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes! Flex & Flow Physio offers mobile physiotherapy. We bring expert care to you, whether at home, work, or another location. Contact us to enquire at suzie@flexandflowphysio.com.au or 0450881605
